CanalFEST '19 is November 2!

CanalFEST is a free community event. We’re planning a full day of family fun, fresh air, fitness, and food. Try your hand at fly fishing! Or kayaking! Or jump on a Petersburg Boat for a guided canal tour. Check out the crafts, art, food trucks and live music, all day long starting with the Canal Fest 5K and fun run. Presented by Gerald Jones Subaru and the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area. Proceeds support the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area’s recreation and education programs.

Sign up to be a volunteer! Volunteers needed all day 8:30-4:00, or split shifts 8:30-12:30 and 12:30-4:30. Please send time availability and waiver to jshurtleff@augustacanal.com.

Augusta Canal Gift Bazaar - Pick up some Augusta Canal signature items and holiday gifts.

Petersburg Boat Rides - hop on the canal’s tour boat for a ride down to the Canal Discovery Center at Enterprise Mill and back. Only $5. Tours start at 10:00 from Sibley Mill dock. Run every hour. Purchase tickets at CanalFEST Headquarters.

Raffle Tent - Win a weekend at Hilton Head, a kayak, fishing gear and much more. Tickets are 3 for $5, 8 for $10, 20 for $20.
